Editor's note: Since the news from the Philippines appeals on the internet and the media today, it has been highly concerned by international civil society.
In respond to the concerns, a Philippines based organisation-- Focus on the Global has issued a short letter that giving us updates of the situation and called for interantional's soildarity and support.
Further note to ARENA community: Randy David, who is our Fellow, has also been arrested yesterday (24th) and is not released yet.

An Open Letter to Singapore Government on Civil Society Action During World Bank Meeting
