Assistant Professor at the Kinnaird College, Lahore, Neelam teaches English Literature to ‘A’ Level students at the Lahore Grammar School. She is a human rights activist and has done work on issues of domestic violence and children’s education.
Neelam is an academic and an activist, a member of Women’s Action Forum and the Simorgh Women’s Collective in Lahore.
Neelam is a member of the ARENA Executive Board 2003 – 2006 and is active in the ARENA Gender Project on South Asian Women’s Oral History.
