Chancellor of the Advanced Institute for the Study of Life, Kim is an ARENA Fellow whose areas of concern are life, justice and peace. He is a founding member and was co-president of the Congress of Asian Theologians and supported the initial foundation of ARENA.
His international activities are varied and he has mainly attended meetings and engaged in study projects of the CCA, Christian Conference of Asia, the World Council of Churches among others.
