Kin Chi Lau is Chair of the Council of Fellows of ARENA (2000-03), and former chair of the ARENA Executive Board. She is Assistant Professor of Cultural Studies at Lingnan University, Hong Kong. She is coeditor of Cultural and Social Studies (Translation Series). She is deeply involved with the building of cross-border alliances within Asia and outside the region and is co-Chair of PP21, and engaged in the study of people's participation in local governance among other issues.
