Anna Liza is an independent consultant.
Her areas of interests are gender, migration, social development, and
intercultural studies. She was a student activist, community organizer, development researcher and trainer, and Community Development faculty at the University of the Philippines from 1980 to 1993. From 1993, she has worked with various regional and international organizations; including the Asian Migrant Centre and ARENA in Hong Kong; Oxfam Great Britain in the Philippines; the International Institute of Social History and Transnational Institute in the Netherlands; Asian Institute of Technology, Committee for Asian Women, and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand; amongst others. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Community Development and Master of Arts in Philippine Studies at the University of Philippines; and Masters in International and Intercultural Management at the School for International Training in Vermont, USA. |
